Warriors Defeat Westcliff and Providence Christian in HIU Labor Day Tournament

Fullerton, CA – On Friday afternoon, the Warriors faced off against Westcliff University in their first match of the HIU Labor Day Tournament.  The Warriors were dominant from start to finish as they swept the match, 3-0 (25-6, 25-21, 25-14).  Lilly Knight and Melissa Polich led the way on the attack for the Warriors as they both finished with 6 kills, while Lilly Knight also finished with 3 blocks.  Emma McMillan was steady for LPU on the back line as she finished the match with 13 digs.

Fullerton, CA – The second match of the day carried a lot of similarities as the first one as the Warriors were dominant from start to finish, completing the second sweep of the day, 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-23).  The Warriors were able to be successful on the court, thanks to their strong performance on the attack, hitting an efficient .305 at the net, while they held Providence Christian to .145 hitting percentage.
