Warrior's Extend Win Streak to Eight With Win At ACU

Glendale, AZ – The Warriors entered Friday evening's match on a 7-match win streak, with 2 of those wins coming in the GSAC.  In their first road GSAC set of the year, the Warriors dropped it to ACU by a score of 25-18.  They immediately responded though and took the second set by a score of 25-19.  The third set was all LPU, thanks to two lengthy service runs by Lindsey Johnson and Emma McMillan.  They ended up taking third set definitively by a 25-10 score.  In the fourth set, the Firestorm of ACU responded and evened things up at two sets a piece.  In the final set, the Warriors were led by their All-American, Hannah Caddow, and closed the match out with a 15-8 victory in the fifth set.  With the 3-2 win, the Warriors improve to 12-2 on the season and are 3-0 in the GSAC.

On the offensive side of things, the Warriors were led by the reigning GSAC Attacker of the Week, Hannah Caddow.  She finished with yet another double-double, securing 19 kills.  She also led LPU on the defensive end as she finished with 18 digs.  Audrianna Guzman finished the match with 12 kills on an astounding .706 hitting %, along with having blocks.  Mackenzie Grooms and Mackenzie Stewart were also very active at the net, combining for 16 kills on the match.  Lindsey Johnson and Maddie Robertson were steady as always, distributing the ball and combining for 44 assists on the match.  Defensively, Peyton Ertle made her presence felt.  While having 5 kills offensively, she set her career mark in blocks and set the LPU record for most blocks by a freshman, finishing with 8 blocks on the match.  Bailey Collette also had 5 blocks on the match, with the Warriors having an impressive 22 blocks for the night.  On the back line, Allison Ayala was consistent as always as she finished with 17 digs.  Emma McMillan finished with 11 digs and 3 service aces.
