Warriors Outlast Beavers, 62-52

San Dimas, CA - On Saturday afternoon, the Warriors hosted the Beavers of Caltech University.  The Warriors took an early lead in the first quarter and never looked back as they were able to push the lead up to 18 points in the 4th quarter.  LPU won the matchup by a final score of 62-52, and improve to 3-1 on the season.  They will look to secure another victory tomorrow afternoon as they are back at Mehl Court to host UC Merced at 2pm.

The Warriors were led by Senior forward, Mikayla Murphy, who finished the game with 16 points and 7 rebounds.  Freshman guard, Rylee Roy, had her second game in a row in double figures as she finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds.  Faith Schwantner did a little bit of everything for the Warriors as she finished with 11 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals.
