San Dimas, CA - Defense, pace of play, and energy was the key to the victory for the Warriors on Saturday afternoon, as they defeated Cal Tech by a final score of 61-39. The Warriors were steady throughout the entire game, as they outscored the Beavers in every quarter. For the game, the Warrior's defense was what stood out above all else, as they held the Beavers to 23% shooting from the field and 14% from the perimeter. With today's win, LPU improves to 3-0 on the season and is the best start in program history. The Warriors will be back on their home court on Thursday afternoon to take on Lincoln University in a pre-season matchup.
