San Dimas, CA - The Warriors opened up their home schedule with a matchup on Wednesday night against Bethesda University. LPU got off to a slow start for the game as Bethesda opened the game with an 11-0 run, forcing a timeout by the Warriors. Despite the slow start and poor shooting in the first half, the Warriors were able to claw their way back into the game, cutting the deficit to 1 point as the game went to the half. As the 2nd half started, the Warriors uptick in energy was apparent, ultimately resulting in them taking the lead and never looking back. They were able to get the lead all the way up to 20 in the 4th quarter and took the game by a final score of 92-78. With the win, the Warriors improved to 2-0 on the season. Life Pacific was led offensively by two seniors, Kyori Lloyd and Sophia Ganino, who both scored 20 plus points tonight. Kyori was the leading scorer for the game, finishing with 26 points, while Sophia Ganino was lights out from the perimeter, finishing with 21 points on 5-8 shooting from 3 point range.
