San Dimas, CA - The Warriors picked up their biggest victory in program history, defeating the 20th ranked Royals from Hope International. The Royals entered tonight's game with an overall record of 18-2 and were 6-0 in the GSAC. The Warriors pulled off the upset, defeating Hope by a final score of 59-57. This also marks the first time that LPU has defeated Hope International in school history. The Warriors were led by Vince Fier, who finished the game with another double-double, as he finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Rico Hopping finished with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Dylan Cabs did a little bit of everything, finishing with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Their defense won them the game, as they held the Royals to 38% shooting from the field and 8% from the perimeter.
With the victory, the Warriors improve to 10-5 on the season and 4-3 in the GSAC.
