Warriors Secure First GSAC Victory of Season with Sweep Over Buccaneers

San Dimas, CA – On Friday evening, the Warriors faced off against Park University (AZ) in a GSAC matchup, where both teams were seeking their first win of conference play.  From start to finish, the Warriors were dominant, as they solidified themselves on the attack, hitting .382 on the match, while only committing 9 attacking errors.  They were led by Bailey Collette, who finished with 14 kills, while hitting .560, as well as Jocelyn Hernandez, who finished with 13 kills on .423 hitting.  Maddie Robertson paced the Warriors with 22 assists.  Kei'ana Pascua (11 digs) and Kate Smith (10 digs) were impressive on the back line.  Jadyn Armstrong had the Buccaneers off balance the entire match as she finished with 4 service aces.

With the win, LPU improves to 10-7 on the season and 1-2 in GSAC play.  They face off tomorrow afternoon at 2pm on Mehl Court as they host Benedictine Mesa (AZ).
