Collette Named GSAC Attacker of the Week

San Dimas, CA - Senior outside hitter, Bailey Collette, has been named the GSAC Attacker of the Week, following her performance in LPU's matches over this past weekend.  The Warriors went 2-0 this past weekend at home, as they defeated Simpson University and Providence Christian on back to back days. on Day 1.  The Warriors enter GSAC play with a 9-5 overall record, thanks in a large part to the work that Bailey Collette has done on the attack.  She currently is averaging a career high in kills per set, 2.95, and hitting percentage, .266, while eclipsing the double-digit kill mark in 9 of the Warrior's 14 matches.   When asked to reflect on Bailey's performance this weekend and receiving the Attacker of the Week honors, Coach Wes Schneider stated, "Bailey has been such an amazing team player throughout her time here at LPU, so I am so happy for her to get the recognition that she deserves and has worked hard for.  She has been steady and efficient on the attack the entire season and she has been an amazing leader on the court as well.  I could not think of a player more deserving of this!"


 

ATTACKER OF THE WEEK - BAILEY COLLETTE

Collette led the way for the Warriors on the offensive end, as she finished the weekend with 24 total kills, averaging 3.43 kills/set.  Her weekend was highlighted by her performance in the sweep over Providence Christian, where she finished with 12 kills while hitting .391.
